Dental veneers are a perfect option to harmonize your smile if you have separation or crowding between your teeth, if your tooth enamel is worn, discolored, has small fractures or previous treatments. By using dental veneers, we are able to balance the size and color of your teeth and we obtain a smile that has a healthy and youthful appearance.
The veneer is a thin sheet, usually made of ceramic or composite, that adheres to the outer face of the tooth quickly and without the need for extensive treatments, obtaining a very natural result.
WHAT ARE DENTAL VENEERS?
The veneers are made-to-measure for each tooth and, after carrying out a study with a digital design of the smile, we assess the aesthetics, the possible previous treatments, the duration of the treatment and the cost. Composite veneers are more economical, but ceramic veneers last longer. The placement of dental veneers is a dental asthetic treatment that has excellent results in very few sessions. It is a painless treatment, as well as restorative, since in most cases a minimum preparation is necessary or it is not even necessary to carve the tooth. Dental veneers are imperceptible to third parties as they have a very thin thickness and are perfectly integrated into the smile. The resistance of the materials guarantee the stability of the result over time.
All veneers are made to measure and in a personalized way, through digital impressions in our clinic. We can distinguish different types of dental veneers depending on the material and procedure used to manufacture them. At Bruno Negri Integral Dental Clinic we distinguish three types of veneers that adapt to your needs.
They are pieces made by computer in the dental laboratory through a CAD CAM system. New technologies allow the production of ceramic veneers that have a thickness close to 0.4 mm.
They are freehand pieces made in an artisanal way by the laboratory technician in successive incremental layers of ceramic. Like milled ceramic veneers, these types of veneers achieve very aesthetic effects and their preparation is very complex due to their fragility, which entails a precise prior study of the patient.
They are a perfect solution to improve aesthetics immediately without having to make previous impressions and are made in a single session in the clinic. It is not necessary to carve the tooth for their placement, and they are ideal for correcting specific defects in shape or for closing spaces.
